Fragrance Express are an Amazon Marketplace retailer of luxury fragrances and personal car products.
As Shopify specialists, we were brought in by Ochoa Global, a marketing agency aligned with Fragrance express, to help with find an e-commerce solution suitable for a large inventory of fragrance products.
Fragrance Express were looking for help migrating their 3000+ product range from Amazon to their own online store.
The main challenge was integrating Shopify with Channel Advisor. Channel advisor acts like a central hub, pushing out the products data every 15 minutes to multiple marketplaces such as Amazon, Jet, eBay and also to e-commerce platforms such as Shopify.
From a UX point of view, the challenge was to organise a very large product inventory into an easy to navigate system while keeping the store looking clean and premium.
- Shopify combined was the perfect e-commerce solution for this project. It allowed the client to fully integrate and control their inventory on Channel Adviser, meaning they could see an item on Amazon and it would update the stock accordingly on Shopify.
- How do you filter 3000+ products? Combined with a customised main menu, we installed Power Tools suite to make navigation super easy with a sidebar that helps customers shop by brand, type, price and more.
- Many Amazon retailers are looking to setup their own online stores so they have a direct relationship with their customers. As a result of our solution, Fragrance Express were able to diversify their online sales channels and market directly to their own customer base.
