7 Business Podcasts for Online Startups

Podcasts are a great way to keep upto date and learn the latest sales tactics from leading successful online entrepreneurs. Looking for some self teaching or need some motivation to get up and go? Below are some of my favourite business podcast that I recommend and regularly listen to.

Shopify Masters

Hosted by Felix Thea, the Shopify Masters provides a weekly podcast full of inspiration for ecommerce tactics and strategies. Each week, Felix interviews current ecommerce entrepreneurs on their business challenges and how they overcame those unique obstacles to succeed. You won’t find too much shopify buttons and features but you will get plenty of actionable advice on running an online business. Run time is about 40 minutes(ish) so grand for listening over lunch.

The GaryVee Audio Experience

Gary Vaynerchuck (Vee) is probably the most vociferous entrepreneur in the business world. Some love him, some hate him but no one can deny that he has a very deep passion for entrepreneurship. If you’re feeling unmotivated or have been set back by anything, put this guy on and in 5 minutes you will be revved up and ready to crush it. Each episode varies from live recordings at stand up events to a hosted show from his office at Vaynermedia.

Problogger Podcast

Probably one of the best podcasts on blogging and how to write content. Since 2004, Darren Rowse has been teaching people how to monetise blogs and write compelling content. Whether wringing product descriptions, home page content or blogs, great content and getting your message across is key to selling online.

The Tim Ferriss Show

Having sent 4 years on The New York Times Best Seller List with his book, The 4 Hour work week, Tim Ferriss knows a thing or two about lifestyle design and rejects the idea of the traditional “deferred life” of working 9-5 for decades while saving money for retirement. His podcast show focuses on deconstructing successful people to understand their approaches, morning routines, exercise habits, time-management skills etc.
